2022 World Choralympic Online competition in Korea

Imo City Chorale and Orchestra Owerri wins Gold Medal at the just concluded word Choralympic competition in Korea

ANOTHER GOLD MEDAL FOR NIGERIA!!!We are joyfully stepping into the new month with a great news!The 2022 World Choralympic which was held on 25th July in Pocheon, South Korea came to a successful end.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions in some parts of the world, the 2022 World Choralympic was organized as an International Online Competition, with exception to choirs from South Korea and some parts of Asia who physically participated in the global event in Pocheon.
The Grand finale of the International Choir Festival (Category B - Adult Choir) had 15 Choirs representing 15 countries who made it to the final stage.
Nigeria, ably represented by the Prestigious Imocitychorale Owerri was the only African Country to make it to the final stage of the Adult Choir Category. The final results which was announced few hours ago had your favorite Chorale as the Winner of the Adult Choir Category!
We are deeply grateful to the International Organizers, College of Judges from different parts of the World, the South Korean Government, the Asian Choir Federation and all those who contributed to make the 2022 World Choralympic a huge Success.
We also extend our warmest regards to our fellow competitors who made it to the final stage from Vietnam, Russia, USA, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Poland, Japan etc.
This is a great start for us on the International Stage. And we are grateful to God for his love.
Our profound gratitude also goes to all our friends, fans and supporters from Imo State in particular, Nigeria at large and beyond.
