*History of Imo City Chorale and orchestra Owerri* Imo City Chorale and orchestra was founded by *Eke Chijindu Favour Hedges* in *January 2020* in *Owerri Imo State Nigeria* and was registered on the *13th of August 2020* by the *corporate Affairs commission with Reg Number BN3158506* The group started with about 15 people and now has more than 70 members, the group hosts two concert every year ( the Opera Imo concert and Trinity Concert) The Chorale have performed in many National and international programs like Aso Villa Christmas concert, Abuja Festival of Praise etc The group base in Owerri Imo State Nigeria is one of the most popular Chorale group in Nigeria today and known for there unique style of performance and have remained dedicated in the growth of Chorale music in Nigeria, the group was the first group ever in Africa to perform an Opera for the deadly COVID 19 as composed by Eke Chijindu Favour, the first to perform The Movie "Lion King" in Nigeria and the first to perform the full Handel's Messiah in Imo State Nigeria. Imo City Chorale Owerri will be hosting her 4th Edition of Opera Imo concert tagged King's Diary -Music of the Opera composed by Eke Chijindu Favour Hedges on the 5th of November 2023 at Elnathan Event Center -Works layout Owerri Imo State Nigeria by 2pm
